How to Measure

STEP 1 – MEASURE

There are two types of measurements you can provide.
1) Measurements for a recess fit
2) Measurements for a face fit

What is a recess?

A recess fit, sometimes know as reveal fit, is where the product is installed on the inside of the window recess. The recess in a window is the distance between the surface of a windowpane and the wall that the window is built into. Using a measuring tape, measure the width and height inside of your window’s recess.

What is a face fit?

A face fit is where the product is installed on the outside of the window recess. If your window has an architrave, measure to the edge of the frame. Using a measuring tape, measure the outside width and height of your window, including the window’s architrave.
